You can buy tickets by visiting the Soul Beach website at www.soulbeach.com. Everyone MUST have a General Admission ticket. You may also purchase tickets at the venue box office starting 2 hours before the start of the show. The Friday Comedy Concert has General Admission (GA) seating, with the possibility of a Platinum seating upgrade. The Saturday Music Concert is GA with Standing Room Only, with the possibility of a Gold Area or Platinum Lounge upgrade. The Sunday R&B/Soul Event is a CELEBRATION featuring a Celebrity DJ and a Guest Performance. It is GA, with the possibility of a Platinum Area upgrade.
Where is St. Maarten?

Is St. Maarten safe?
As with all travel, you must be cautious and exercise standard precautions, but St. Maarten is considered one of the safest destinations in the Caribbean. St. Maarten ranks the highest “category 1” safety category in the US. The UK government also classifies St. Maarten as a very safe holiday destination. Swimming on St. Maarten’s 37 beaches and using taxis are also safe. According to the Solo Female Travelers Club (www.thetravel.com/safest-caribbean-islands-forsolo- female-travelers/), St. Maarten is among the top ten safest Caribbean destinations, just ahead of Aruba.

Do I need to have a passport to travel to St. Maarten?

Are there COVID restrictions or requirements that I need to know before traveling to St. Maarten?
As of August 1, 2022, St. Maarten no longer requires travelers to meet COVID-19 entry requirements. There are also no testing or vaccine requirements.
Where are the concerts held?
The Friday Comedy and Saturday Music Concerts are held at the TBD in Philipsburg. The Sunday R&B Soul Event will be at TBD, and Day Beach Parties will be at TBD. All major events (Comedy, Music, and R&B Soul) are held in outdoor venues, and plenty of paid parking or nearby free parking is available at these locations. How do I gain admission to the Friday Comedy, Saturday Music concert, or Sunday R&B/Soul Event?

What does a basic General Admission Concert Ticket allow me?
At the Friday Comedy Show, the basic General Admission ticket gains you entry into the venue, where there will be first come, first served seating. At the Saturday Music Concert, the General Admission is Standing Room Only. The Sunday R&B Soul Event is GA, similar to the nightclub events. You can buy ticket upgrades for the major events (on top of the price of the General Admission tickets), each of which is described in detail on the ticketing website.
Is there seating for the Friday Comedy Concert?
Yes, all entries are General Admission for the Friday Comedy Concert. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with the possibility of a Platinum upgrade that allows you to sit within the first 15 rows. Please see the ticket page on our website, www.soulbeach.com, for more details.
Is there seating for the handicapped and/or elderly inside the Saturday Music Concert venue?
Yes, bleacher seating, located at the back of the venue, is reserved for the handicapped and elderly. The bleacher area is also wheelchair accessible.
What if I want seating for the Saturday Music Concert?
For the Music Concert, we have two add-on upgrade options versus our standard General Admission (Standing Room Only, i.e., no seats) ticket that everyone needs to purchase to come into the venue:
1) The first is an upgrade to the Gold Access Area, with access to the closest standing room to the stage and a dedicated no-host bar.
2) The second upgrade is to the Platinum Lounge Area, where first come, first served seating is provided on a raised platform with excellent sight lines and no-host bar service. The only way to get a guaranteed seat is by buying a ticket upgrade for a seat in the Platinum Lounge area.
3) A limited amount of bleacher seating at the back of the venue is reserved for the handicapped and elderly. The bleacher area is also wheelchair accessible.

Where can I pick up my concert tickets?
All Concert/Event tickets purchased online can be printed or saved on your mobile device and scanned for entry into the event. Any additional upgrades or passes can be picked up in one of the following ways:
• Starting at the Wednesday, 5/21 Official Soul Beach Kick-Off Party, wristbands will be available at “Will Call” and at every other paid Soul Beach Concert/Event/Party
• “Will Call” at the respective Concert/Event Venue on the event day, available 2 hours before the start of the event. A valid ID & confirmation number is required for pickup.
I already printed/have my concert tickets; where can I pick up my Party Passes, Gold or Platinum passes?
Party Passes, Gold, and Platinum passes can be picked up in the following ways:

What are my communications options while in St. Maarten?
Most major phone service providers will continue to work in St. Maarten. Before flying to St. Maarten, talk to your phone service provider about their international plans. If you are staying for an extended period or looking to save on costly international plans, you can get phone card SIMS and service packages for your time on the island. St. Maarten’s dialing code is +1721; when dialing from away or on the Northern Side, St. Martin, you’ll dial the dialing code first and then the St. Maarten phone number. St. Martin’s dialing code is +590; when dialing from the Dutch Side, St. Maarten, you dial 011-590-590 for landlines and 011-590-690 for cellular. Please check with your cellular phone carrier about additional charges before arriving on the island.
What currency is accepted in St. Maarten?
The official currency of St. Maarten is the Netherlands Antillean Florin (NAF), also known as the guilder. This was the official currency of the former Netherlands Antilles and is still used today. The euro is used in the North (in St. Martin). Despite having two different official currencies, the US Dollar is accepted on both sides, with St. Maarten using the US Dollar the most. It is common to receive change in US Dollars even when payment is made with the guilder. Credit cards are accepted in certain establishments, and it is always recommended to walk with extra cash for the mom-and-pop shops that usually take only cash. The banking hours in St. Maarten are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. ATMs can be found at any local bank or other high-traffic locations.
Info, medical, and first aid?
We make every effort to provide a safe environment at Soul Beach. Security and medical staff work throughout the festival to ensure this. If you’re experiencing any problems whatsoever, locate a festival staff member, security guard, or police officer. If it is a medical emergency, please dial 911.
What if I need medical assistance while in St. Maarten?
For medical assistance, most hotels have a doctor on call 24 hours a day (check with the front desk). The Dutch side hospital, St Maarten Medical Center (SMMC, www.smmc.sx, +1-721-543-1111), is located in Cay Hill, west of downtown Philipsburg. The French side hospital, the Louis Constant Fleming Medical Center of Saint Martin (www.chsaintmartin.org, 05 90 52 25 25), is located in Concordia just east of Marigot, between Rue de Concordia and Rue de Spring.
Please pack your prescription medications. Drug stores cannot fill prescriptions from doctors not on the island, but they can advise you on obtaining one if necessary.
Do I need to buy bottled water to drink?
Dehydration is common, considering the high temperatures and climate. Please be sure to stay hydrated while on the island. Tap water on the island comes from desalinated seawater and is drinkable. We recommend drinking bottled water, which is readily available throughout the island.
Do I need to bring a power cord adapter when I travel to St. Maarten?
In St. Maarten, they follow US electricity standards. Appliances run on 110/120 volts, so no adapters are needed. But If you’re staying on both sides, don’t forget to pack an adapter. St. Martin follows the European Standard, so appliances run on 220 volts.
Can I bring a camera or video recorder to the concert performances?
No cameras or tape/video recorders are permitted.
What is prohibited from being brought inside of the concert venues?
No lawn or beach chairs, umbrellas, outside beverages or food, cans or bottles, or weapons/firearms are allowed inside the concert venues. Please note that this is strictly enforced.
